Originally from New York, Dr. Borhan attended Cornell University and received his M.D. from Albany Medical College, where he received the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha distinction. He completed his residency in Surgery and Urology at the University of Rochester and was one of the first Urologic Surgeons in the nation to be trained in Robotic and Advanced Laparoscopic and Minimally Invasive techniques. As a leader in the field of Robotic Urological Surgery, he has one of the largest case series in the state of Arizona with a regional and national draw and has served as a robotic surgery instructor, training other surgeons in robotic and advanced laparoscopic techniques throughout the West Coast.
